What PronoArena is

PronoArena is a sports prediction game among friends. It is free, with no stake and no winnings. You create a league or join one, you predict the matches of a competition, and a ranking updates. Points, streaks and trophies have symbolic value only.

Using the service means accepting these terms. They do not cover the paid “Supporter” option, which has its own terms of sale.

Your account

One account, one person. You choose a username: it is seen by the other players in your leagues and on public rankings, so it must remain acceptable to them. You are responsible for what is written from your account.

You can leave whenever you want, without asking anyone: deleting your account is immediate and permanent.

On your league wall

A league wall is a place among players who know each other. Trash talk is part of the game. What has no place there:

• insults aimed at a person, harassment, threats;
• hateful or discriminatory speech, and any illegal content;
• sexual content;
• advertising, solicitation and affiliate links;
• someone else's personal data;
• impersonating a third party.

Two tools are available to you: reporting a message, which removes it from the wall for everyone until it has been reviewed, and blocking a player, which hides their messages from you alone, without notifying them and without affecting the ranking.

What we may do, and how you are told

A message breaching the rules above may be deleted. An account may be closed in the event of a serious or repeated breach, or of use that harms other players (cheating, automation, creating multiple accounts).

Any such decision comes with its reasons: you receive an email at your account address, stating what was removed or closed and why. If you believe the decision is a mistake, reply to that email: it is reviewed by a person, and a message deletion can be reversed.

Single electronic point of contact, for players and authorities alike: contact@pronoarena.com. Exchanges take place in French or in English. The publisher of the service is identified in the legal notice.

The service as it is

The game is provided free of charge, with no guarantee of continuous availability. Fixtures and results come from public sources: an error or a delay in a score is possible, and is corrected as soon as it is noticed. A scoring scale is never changed retroactively during a competition.

These terms may change; the date of the last update appears at the top of this page. French law applies. How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy.
