Terms of sale

1. Seller

The paid options of PronoArena are sold by Eric Mollenthiel, a sole trader registered in France (entrepreneur individuel (EI)), business identification number (SIREN) 795 225 226, 103 avenue Lacassagne, 69003 Lyon, France — contact@pronoarena.com. These terms of sale apply to every purchase made on PronoArena and supplement the legal notice. They are accepted when the order is placed.

2. The « Supporter » account

The « Supporter » account is an optional way to support PronoArena. For the competition concerned, it unlocks comfort and identity features only:

• a « Supporter » badge on your profile and in the standings;
• exclusive avatars and display themes;
• advanced statistics (rank evolution match by match, season comparisons, export);
• league customisation (crest, banner) if you are its commissioner.

The game itself remains entirely free. The « Supporter » account gives no advantage whatsoever in the standings: predictions, jokers, points and rankings are identical for every player, paying or not. It is neither a wager nor a lottery, and it does not entitle you to any winnings.

3. Price

The « Supporter » account costs €4.99 per season (one competition), all taxes included. The statutory mention « TVA non applicable, article 293 B du Code général des impôts » applies: the seller benefits from the French VAT exemption for small businesses, so no VAT is charged. The price displayed at the time of the order prevails.

4. Order and payment

The purchase is made from your account. Payment is processed by card through our provider Stripe; no banking data passes through or is stored by PronoArena. This is a one-off purchase for the season concerned: no subscription, no renewal and no later charge. A receipt is sent by email after payment.

5. Right of withdrawal

The « Supporter » account is digital content supplied immediately. In order to enjoy it right away, you request its immediate performance at the time of payment and you expressly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU). This waiver is given through a mandatory tick box and saves you from waiting out the withdrawal period; in return, the purchase is not refundable once access has been opened. Without this waiver, the order cannot be placed.

6. Changes to the price or to the offer

The price and the contents of the « Supporter » account may change from one season to the next. Any change applies to future purchases only: a purchase already made is never altered retroactively, and a new price can never be applied to you without a new order placed by you.

7. One-off support

PronoArena may offer a one-off way to support the project (« buy us a coffee »), for an amount you choose freely, collected by Stripe. This support is entirely optional and comes with nothing in return: it does not entitle you to any goods, service, content or in-game benefit. In particular, it gives no advantage in the standings — the same principle as for the « Supporter » account.

As a payment without any consideration in return, it is not the purchase of goods or of a service and does not open a right of withdrawal. In the event of an obvious mistake (amount entered by accident, duplicate payment), write to contact@pronoarena.com: a refund will be made in good faith. No VAT is charged (Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code).

8. Consumer mediation

Under Articles L612-1 and L616-1 of the French Consumer Code, every consumer is entitled to free recourse to a consumer mediator in order to settle a dispute amicably. The mediator appointed for PronoArena is:

The mediator can only be seized after a prior written complaint sent to contact@pronoarena.com has remained unsatisfied. Mediation proceedings are conducted in French. If you live in another EU member state, in Iceland or in Norway, the European Consumer Centre can point you to the competent scheme, free of charge.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction under the ordinary rules. If you are a consumer residing in another EU member state, you keep the benefit of the mandatory protective provisions of the law of your country of residence.

10. Language of the contract

These terms are written in French, which is the only binding version. This English translation is provided for the convenience of non-French-speaking players: in the event of any discrepancy of interpretation between the two versions, the French version prevails.
